The log side rails and outside log on the body is constructed of Ponderosa pine and the log legs are made from Norway pine. To ensure that the log side rails will stand straight and true, they are made up of 2 inch strips of knotty Ponderosa pine and laminated together and hand drawknifed into a massive log shape. It has structural strength and yet beauty and character for a log look. The Ponderosa comes in 7 or 8 feet in length and two different finishes.
